Merry Christmas from Parks!

The first layers of frost have crept into our early morning routines. Icy smoke loops around our faces as we speak, and the seafront blows an almighty chill. The seagulls seem sulkier as the lack of summertime tourists has limited their intake of stolen chips. North Street has welcomed some familiar festive lights such as the sunshade Santa and the dancing robot. The pier now stands more luminous than ever with its very own 20-foot pine tree…Christmas, certainly, is fast approaching.

This year, Parks have decided to go above and beyond with our own Christmas decorations by inviting some new characters into the office with us. In line with our Winter Wonderland theme, we now share the space with three penguins, two reindeer, two silver birch trees, one hefty polar bear (!) with a light up sleigh and presents. Finally, after five hours fuelled by mince pies, brownies and mulled wine, the team here at Parks are delighted to show off our latest creation. If you haven’t already, take a peek at our amazing 2021 display below – we’d love to hear what you think.

On the subject of Christmas, Parks would like to highlight that we no longer send out Christmas cards in the effort to minimise paper usage. Instead, each year we use this money and donate to a charity drawn from a hat. For Christmas 2021, we are proudly donating to Crisis; an incredible organization which tackles homelessness. Parks would also like to take this opportunity to look back at our most recent charity event, Parks mud run back in September, and thank everyone who kindly donated to this cause and helped us raise £650.00 for breast cancer. We eagerly look forward to many more charitable events as we head into the New Year.

While the New Year may continue to be somewhat unpredictable, one thing is for sure – Parks will be entering 2022 with our strongest lettings team yet. To provide a brief recap, from left to right: Antony Rummins, Lettings Director. Graham Jasper, Managing Director. Guy Welfare, Lettings Manager. Joanne Swann, Marketing and Lettings Coordinator. Joe Newman, Property Management Assistant. Shane Greenaway, Property Manager. Maxine Jasper, Compliance Director. Josh Thomas, Senior Lettings Negotiator. Shannon Hegarty, Property Manager. Sam Bartholomew, Lettings Negotiator.

As always, Parks are incredibly grateful to be working alongside an exceptional portfolio of Landlords and Tenants around Brighton and Hove. Thank you for another rewarding year together, we wish you a very Merry Christmas. If there is anything further we can do for you, or if you have any tips or suggestions that will help make your experience with Parks an even better one, please contact Antony Rummins on 01273 202089. By Parks Letting | 3 December 2021

As new landlords last year, my husband and I were recommended to Parks through the sole estate agent we use. We have had nothing but a positive experience in that time. Antony the Letting Director has always been on hand to investigate, inform and advise. He has happily come along to view properties we were interested in and pass opinion accordingly. None of our requests have been dismissed and nothing has been too much trouble. Communication is efficient and legal and procedural knowledge and policy has been tip-top. The lettings management team has always been quick to respond and as a result, our tenants seem happy too, which is also important.
